2 Corinthians 10:4 – The weapons we fight with are not weapons of the world. On the contrary, they have divine power to demolish strongholds.
Churchtown Church of God is committed to the spiritual care of one another through the power of prayer. We offer a monthly meeting, open to anyone that would like to give or receive the fruit of the Spirit. This is a “safe space” to openly express praises or struggles you’ve encountered amongst fellow believers. Together, we lift these burdens from the individual to carry in prayer as one body in Christ.
“Prayer 911” was implemented to give access to anyone in need of immediate intercessory prayer 24/7, 365. This text group is comprised of dedicated prayer warriors, ready to take action in those times of uncertainty or tragedy. As we all operate on different sleep and work schedules, you can be assured the situation is covered in prayer immediately and throughout the day.
Churchtown also takes a passive approach to spiritual care as volunteers gather before, during and after Sunday service to pray over the grounds, congregation, community and the church universal. These initiatives provide opportunities for any individual to step out, grow and share their spiritual giftings in an empowering yet intimate setting.
